Dr Mike Clemons
Senior medical leadership, clinical governance, training and workforce development
Mike is an experienced senior doctor whose career has included general practice, disability medicine, clinical training and senior medical leadership.
He was formerly Chief Medical Officer for Capita’s Recruitment Partnering Project supporting British Army recruitment, with extensive responsibility across multidisciplinary clinical teams, governance, quality assurance, standards, training and service improvement.
Mike also brings substantial experience in de-escalation, the management and avoidance of violence and aggression, programme development, clinical audit, professional decision-making and complex organisational environments.
Sarah Jenkins
Accredited therapist, trauma-informed practice, psychological wellbeing and reflective support
Sarah is a BACP-accredited Person-Centred and CBT therapist and counsellor with extensive experience supporting people through trauma, bereavement, mental-health challenges and significant life events.
Her experience includes occupational health and EAP settings, specialist trauma and bereavement work, addiction services, children and young people, crisis support and multidisciplinary working.
Sarah brings a strong trauma-informed perspective to JLA’s work, contributing to psychological safety, wellbeing, communication, reflective practice, safeguarding and the human factors that influence people and organisations.
Sarah also brings specialist experience supporting people affected by terrorism and major incidents, including therapeutic and group-based work focused on trauma, recovery and post-traumatic growth.
Dr Scott Bambrick
Strategic leadership, executive education, organisational change and coaching
Scott is an experienced strategic leader in higher education with substantial expertise across leadership, organisational change, executive education, internationalisation and quality.
As Director of Keele Business School and a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, his work includes strategic leadership, senior-team development, programme development, accreditation, international partnerships and executive learning.
Scott’s facilitative and coaching-led approach adds further depth to JLA’s leadership, management, organisational development and complex programme capability.
